For nearly a decade, the Regent Street Cinema has stood as a beacon of creativity, diversity, and community in the heart of London’s West End. Its transformation from a historic landmark to a bustling hub of independent film was made possible by generous friends and supporters like you. Now, as we celebrate ten extraordinary years, we invite you to help shape an even brighter future.

Independent cinemas face unprecedented challenges, and our mission is more vital than ever. By donating to the Regent Street Cinema Future of Film Fund, you help us:  

  • Champion diverse filmmaking: We’re committed to showcasing underrepresented voices, spotlighting bold new talent, and enriching our community through dynamic programming.  
  • Offer a platform for emerging filmmakers: By hosting graduate film showcases and thought-provoking film festivals, we nurture up-and-coming filmmakers.

Funds raised for the Cinema will enable us to this by giving Regent Street Cinema the opportunity to demonstrate:  

  • Expanded community outreach – Hosting free and subsidised screenings, workshops, and educational events  
  • Curated programming – Working with some of the most important film collectives and charities to showcase global perspectives and underrepresented voices  
  • Sustainability and innovation – Upgrading equipment, preserving our historic venue, and adapting to industry challenges  
  • Preservation of film heritage – Commitment to showcasing classic and cult cinema including 35mm presentations

As we reach our 10-year milestone, the term for these plaques is coming to an end. This is your chance to renew for another decade. A gift of £200 ensures your seat remains named, celebrating your support every time the credits roll.  

If you haven’t yet named a seat—or would like to dedicate one to a loved one—there are 30 new seats available. A £750 donation secures a named seat for a 10-year period. Every penny raised will go directly toward sustaining and growing our programming, facilities, and outreach.
